Entry Level Prophecy

Thank you so much for enrolling in 'Entry Level Prophecy.' I am excited to encourage and exhort you on how you can hear God's voice and prophesy. This is going to be an incredible adventure in the Holy Spirit!

Love is the base of all prophecy. Without it you are a clanging symbol. Before we can talk about tapping into the word of wisdom or knowledge, we have to make sure your heart posture is correct. Let’s get you grounded in love.

Foundations are defined as, "the basis or groundwork of anything," and also, "the act of founding, setting up, establishing," and more. We need to have foundations placed in our spiritual life before we launch out into entry-level prophecy or any spiritual gift. We have seen too many spiritually gifted individuals fall and fail in ministry because they had little foundations. All of us need to be grounded and founded in Jesus.

Moses and Abraham were both friends of God, and you can be one too. Jesus called His disciples friends, a relationship we should all strive for. Being a friend of God means having an ongoing dialogue with Him, making Him our closest and most trusted companion.

Before stepping into prophetic ministry, it is crucial to examine one's heart motivation, as it directly impacts the accuracy and effectiveness of prophecy. True prophecy is rooted in love—love for God and others—rather than personal recognition.

Entry-level prophecy is an accessible way to practice listening to God and sharing what He reveals, primarily to encourage, comfort, and strengthen others. While all spiritual gifts are valuable, prophecy is emphasized in Scripture as uniquely beneficial to the body of Christ.
